Studio
Ashlee Leijer Architects is an Architecture and Interior Design studio based on the Surf Coast in Victoria. Our studio is led by architect Ashlee Leijer who has spent many years working at some of Melbourne’s most reputable Architecture and Interior design practices. Ashlee is a registered Architect with the ARBV.
Our passion is creating timeless spaces that respond and evolve with people and place. Each project is unique in the way it is derived from our initial site studies and client consultations. We work closely with our clients and their families, thoughtfully moving through each stage of the project together.
We believe in refined details and materiality to achieve a simplicity in the built form. Although our passion and inspiration embrace the coastline, our studio works across many different environments including coastal, urban and regional sites throughout Victoria.

Prospect House, Black Rock, Melbourne, VIC
Set amongst the leafy Bayside suburb of Black Rock, this new project was to provide a busy young family with a contemporary home sanctuary. The brief required a considered response to the functionality of the Interior spaces, with a desire for connection and enhanced livability. The kitchen features as the focal point of the home with an elevated materials palette, rich in texture. The Island bench is the hero of the space, offering a moment for deep connection and enhanced experience. The richness of texture and refined approach to the detailing, provide a beautiful seamless connection throughout the home.
